BUDGETING AND SAVING
BUDGETING AND SAVING
Your Flagstar Visa® Debit Card comes in handy when you’re on vacation. You can use it to pay for food, overnight stays, and excursions or get cash at an ATM for the kids or for tipping your tour guide. Before you head out this year, here are a few easy ways to keep your card—and account—safe.
It’s ok. Take a deep breath. The first thing to do is freeze your card so no one can use it. Here’s how:
Find your card? Great! Switch the toggle back to ON and go about your day. If you determine that it’s lost or stolen, keep the setting to OFF, then call us immediately at 888-248-6423 so we can help.
You can also protect your account by setting geographic boundaries for your debit card. If you’re traveling through Utah, your boundary could be the entire state, Salt Lake City only, or even the 84070 zip code. Here’s how:
Traveling as a family? You can identify up to three regions so your debit card will work even when the group splits up. That means the kids who are up for a day at Disney World can go with you while the rest of the group heads to the Kennedy Space Center 50 miles away.
Traveling abroad? You can use My Regions to protect your card from unauthorized use after you’re home. Just choose the setting that blocks all international card use.
Whether you’re beachside or on Broadway, you can enjoy your vacation a little more knowing that your debit card has you covered. Bon voyage!
This debit card is issued by Flagstar Bank pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc.
Visa’s Zero Liability policy covers U.S.-issued cards only and does not apply to ATM transactions, PIN transactions not processed by Visa, or certain commercial card transactions.
